Criteria for Recruitment of DEE LP UP Teachers
Age Limit: A applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 40 on 1st January 2021.
Age Relaxation: The Category-wise age relaxation for different categories are as mentioned below:
# Ex-Servicemen: 42 years
# OBC/ MOBC: 43 years
# SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 45 years
# Persons with Disability (PwD): 50 years
Educational Qualification: Post-wise educational qualifications for each posts are as mentioned below .
Assistant Teacher (LP)
(a) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.) OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
AND
(b) Passed in Assam TET for LPS, conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.
Assistant Teacher (UP)
Graduate from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam TET for UPS conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.
Science Teacher (UP)
B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam TET for UPS (Science and Mathematics) conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.
Assamese Language Teacher
Graduate from the UGC recognized University having Assamese as one of the subjects and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam TET for UPS conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.
Manipuri Language Teacher
Graduate from the UGC recognized University having Manipuri as one of the subjects and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam TET for UPS conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.
NIOS (ODL) Course: The candidate who has completed the 18-month D. El. Ed. course fram the NIOS (ODL) will be treated at par and equally with the other candidates who have completed the 2-year course for the purpose of this recruitment process.
Pay:
Assistant Teacher (LP): Pay Band - 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60,500/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019”
Assistant Teacher (UP): Pay Band - 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60,500/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019”.
# Candidates should exercise caution when submitting the online application, since once it is submitted against a certain Assam TET examination Roll Number, they will not be permitted to submit the online application a second time.

# Passport Size Photograph.
# HSLC Admit Card.
# HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate.
# Degree Mark-sheet and Certificate.
# Any Other Mark-sheet and Certificate of Higher Education.
# DElEd/ BEd Marksheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate.
# Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(PVST(H)/OBC/MOBC).
# Certificate NCC (Only B or C Category only), Sports & Cultural (if represented state at National Level).
# Certificate and Mark sheet of Assam TET.
# Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.
# Certificate of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) issued by appropriate authority.
# Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.
# Scanned Signature.

# For Assam TET 2021 Candidates: From the date of declaration of Result of TET to Midnight of 31/12/2021
Note: It is for information of all concerned that the online application process for candidates mentioned in point 11 (a) of DEE, Assam Advertisement-A No. EAA/SIU/125/2021/Pt-I/39 dated 18.09.2021 will be continued beyond 27.10.2021 till the Midnight of 31st December 2021.

Selection Process of Assam TET Recruitment
The Selection of the candidates shall be strictly in order of merit considering the reservation for EWS/OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PWD etc. and marks will be allocated as follows:
# Lower Primary TET Recruitment
Note: Any other marks obtained in other exams such as HSLC or Equivalent, Graduation, Post-Graduation and other Professional Qualification not mentioned in the guideline of NCTE will not be considered.
# Upper Primary TET Recruitment
Note: Any other marks obtained in other exams such as HSLC or Equivalent, Post-Graduation and other Professional Qualification not mentioned in the guideline of NCTE will not be considered.
