The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) in Shillong has issued a recruitment notification for 37 Junior Resident Doctor positions. Interested and qualified applicants should apply online.

Number of positions: 37 UR-15, EWS-6, OBC-10, SC-2, and ST-4

Pay Scale: Rs.56,100/- + NPA and other allowances as permitted by law.
NEIGRIHMS Shillong Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

 

Educational Background:

• Medical qualifications listed in Schedule – I & II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (individuals holding qualifications listed in Part – II of the Third Schedule must additionally meet the requirements provided in section 13 (B) of the Act).
•  Successful completion of the mandatory internship.
• The candidate's registration with the Central/State Medical Council is required.

Age restriction: 30 years. Age relaxation is permitted for SC/ST applicants up to 5 (five) years and for OBC (Non-creamy layers) candidates up to 3 (three) years in respect of vacancies allocated for them. Age relaxation would be accorded to physically disabled candidates in accordance with Government of India regulations.

How to Apply for NEIGRIHMS Recruitment in Shillong?

Eligible candidates are requested to report to the Conference Hall, NEIGRIHMS Guest House, Permanent Campus, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, between 09:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on 25th & 26th November 2021 (Thursday & Friday).

They must complete their personal information in the required application format and submit the following pertinent documents, which must be legally attested:-

i. Two passport-size photographs taken within the last year
ii. Birth Certificate (10th certificate)
iii. If appropriate, a certificate of EWS/SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) compliance from the competent authority.
iv. MBBS Certificate of Completion v. MBBS Marksheets
vi. Certificate of Attempt at MBBS
vii. Certificate of Completion of MBBS Internship
viii. Certificate of Medical Registration for MBBS
ix. Letter of recommendation from the candidate's current employer (if employed); x. MCI Eligibility certificate for candidate(s) who have graduated from a foreign medical institution.
xi. Screening test results for Indian citizens holding foreign medical degrees issued by the National Board of Examinations.
