About Guwahati Tool Room & Training Centre
The Government of India created the Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC) in Guwahati to meet the tooling and training requirements of industries in the North Eastern region. The Assam State Government gave land and the initial structure for the Tool Room.
TRTC was incorporated on 24th February 2000 as a Government of India Society.
It is located at Amingaon Industrial Area, Guwahati-781031, on the North Guwahati Road. It is a sprawling complex that includes an Administrative Building, a Training Building, a Modern Workshop, a Knowledge Center, Staff Quarters, and a Hostel.
TRTC Guwahati Apprenticeship Training Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification:
Engineering graduates from the following branches and batches are eligible to apply for these apprentice positions.
# B.E/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering: 12 Nos. (Passing Year 2019, 2020 & 2021)
# B.E/B. Tech in Civil Engineering: 01 No. (Passing Year 2019, 2020 & 2021)
# B.E/B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering: 02 Nos. (Passing Year 2019, 2020 & 2021)
# B.E/B. Tech in Electrical Engineering: 03 Nos. (Passing Year 2019, 2020 & 2021)
# B.E/B. Tech in Electronics Engineering: 03 Nos. (Passing Year 2019, 2020 & 2021)
