Pay Scale: Rs.14,000-60,500/-with Grade Pay of Rs.5,600/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Recruitment Criteria for Assam Commando Battalion

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens and residents of Assam on a permanent basis.
 
Candidates must register their names with an Assam-based employment exchange.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.

Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 21 years as on 01-01-2021 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.2000).

Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age limit relaxation is as mentioned below
 
# SC/ST(H)/ST(P): 5 (five) years
# OBC/ MOBC: 3 (three) years
# National and International sports person: 3 (three) years

Educational Qualification:

# HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
# In addition for the posts of Constable (Nursing), Nursing Diploma is necessary.

 
Uploading Documents Using the Online Form

Along with the online application form, candidates must upload the following documents (where applicable):

i) Passed certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination.
ii) Mark sheet of HSLC or equivalent examination.
iii) Admit card of HSLC or equivalent examination for proof of Age.
iv) Employment Exchange registration number.
v) Certificate of Sports person to avail 5% reservation of posts & age relaxation .
vi) Caste Certificate from the Competent Authority.
vii) Permanent Residential Certificate.
viii) Transgender Certificate issued by Competent Authority, if any.

x) Passport Size Photograph.
xi) Signature .
